Tesoramore is a Portsmouth UK based family run business which consists of Sabrina Simmons & Steven Parrott.
Our business started as a 'labour of love project' for myself (Sabrina) and Steve due to a love of unique jewellery, creativity and a passion for creating meaningful and sentimental pieces.

Steve had a background in engineering and design, and I had a background in business management and 10 years experience as a grief therapist, and most importantly, we both wanted to improve our lives, and create a meaningful legacy.

Steve would design jewellery pieces as a hobby, and this would be done alongside his job as a bike mechanic.

One day a family friend asked Steve to make them a memorial ring, so together we designed a bespoke ring, custom made it from our bedroom with very basic tools.
Our family friend was but it received such a hugely positive response, that we started to receive even more requests.

It wasn't long before we were receiving lots of requests for non-memorial designs too and our port folio grew.

We decided to turn this 'passion-project' in to a business which we named Tesoramore, which in Italian translates to 'Treasured Love'.

However, we soon realised that we were working a 'flooded' industry, and if we were to make the huge sentimental impact in our field that we dreamt of, we would need to create a USP that stood us apart from our competitors.
I sadly developed a blood clot in October 2023, and it was during this time being laid up in bed that I decided to revisit my memories in grief therapy and palliative care and draw from those learnings, as I got to witness first hand that at the end of someone's life, the thing that they held most dear were their memories, and those memories were the main thing that they valued from their time here, and when it was sadly time for that beautiful life to pass on, those memories then became the main source of comfort and peace to the ones that had been left behind.
I also noticed that individuals and families that were struggling with grief, always found a semblance of relief and solace once they actually had a tangible part of their loved one with them, and that digital legacy platforms were becoming increasingly popular, and it was those findings and experiences as well as Steve's extensive craftmanship skills that led us to pioneer the concept of combining ashes and memories into jewellery and keepsakes, so that grieving loved ones could not only have a tangible reminder of a loved one that they could touch and carry with them, but that they could use that tangible keepsake to revisit special memories when they were missing their loved one.
We proudly launched the worlds first digital memorial design in November 2023, and not long after launched our digital occasions designs too.

And although near field communication already existed, we were the first to use the technology in this way, making us pioneers in our field, and the original founders of digital memorial jewellery and keepsakes, which one us a business pioneer award in 2024.
We still have so many plans for the future, including becoming a leading brand in digital jewellery.
