REINVENT JEWELLERY
At Adorato we specialise in reinventing old sentimental or inherited jewellery, that may have sat collecting dust somewhere as they are unwearable or broken and reinvent them into new designs that are more to your style/size which you can wear with pride.Sentimental jewellery (whether it be gifted or inherited) is priceless to the person it belongs to, but it may be unwearable due to it’s condition, style or size.
This can lead to it being stored out of sight collecting dust which is tragically sad considering it’s emotional value.
At Adorato we offer a very special service in which we give that unwearable piece new life and purpose by turning it into something new
What types of jewellery to people get remodelled?
- Inherited jewellery that has sentimental value but is not their style.
- Broken, hollow jewellery that’s not economical to repair (like Gold hoop earrings).
- Unwanted engagement rings to remodel & symbolise a fresh start.
- Diamond jewellery that repeatedly has stones falling out.
- Family jewellery to divide among siblings (ie mum has a Diamond 3 stone & we make 3 separate pendants for her children).
- Old engagement rings that were purchased when the couple’s budget were tight are brought in for an ‘upgrade’
How does the reinvention process work?
If you have a jewellery piece or gemstone that you would like to be reinvented into a new design then you will be required to do complete a query form so that we can evaluate the work and offer you a quote. Each commission is individually priced depending on the jewellery piece/pieces you have, and the design that you would like it to be reinvented into.
You will be given the choice of one of our designs which you can find below in the inspiration gallery, or you can custom design your own.
* Please note, if you are choosing a design from our gallery please include the gallery reference number on your query form.
Once you have received your quote if you decide to go ahead with the work you will be required to pay half of the commission fee to begin the process (the payment link will be attached to your quote). Once we have received confirmation of payment we will send you a receipt, along with details of where to send your items too.
Once we have received your items we will email confirmation of the safe arrival and begin work on your new design.
Once you design is ready we will email you the payment link for your final instalment and on receipt of that your design will be posted via recorded next day delivery.
Examples of our work-
Our customer had a Sterling Silver 925 ring that had sentimental value, and wanted it reinvented into a marquise cluster ring.
We supplied the Pink Sapphire and Moissanite stones and the customers old ring supplied the silver.

Our customer was terminally ill and feared he would not be here to attend his brothers upcoming wedding but wanted to be a part of it somehow, so he gave us a gold ring which was a family heirloom and asked us to reinvent it into a wedding band for his little brother.
He chose a red inlay to represent their Welsh heritage.

Our customer wanted a Damascus wedding ring, but also had some gold that had belonged to his mum who had sadly passed away, and wanted to incorporate that into the band.
I turned the gold into a wire, and handmade his Damascus wedding ring with an offset gold inlay.

Our customer had gold earrings that had belonged to her Nan and although they had a lot of sentimental value they were stuck in a box as they weren’t her style at all, so she decided to have them made into a ring that she could wear every day.
We supplied the emeralds and diamonds, and the customer provided the gold.

Our customer had a broken Silver bracelet that she wanted incorporated into her wedding ring.
She chose a contour wedding ring with Moissanites to fit her engagement ring, so her bracelet was melted with extra silver bullion to make this custom design.

Our customer had a a set of sovereign earrings that had belonged to her Nan, and asked us to use the gold and one of the coins to make a Sovereign ring.

Our customer had inherited Silver from her Nan which was sadly unwearable. She wanted to have it reinvented into a Claddagh band as her Grandad was from Galway, and this meant she had a design that paid tribute to them both.
